I am cautiously optimistic. Hope my optimism is not clouded by my relief that he’s the polar opposite of KR. Someone said in one of the many pods I listen to that he wants intelligent players who get what he wants to happen overall, and in any given match situation. I like that a lot, also his understanding and application of emotional intelligence
Seems to be the most level headed manager I have ever heard speak. My first concern was what he’s like if he ever has to give a really inspirational team talk or half-time roasting. Maybe he’ll never need too?
