Fine, then what the hell is it?
In short, it's an OUFC community for level-headed conversation. Basically it's a refuge from the mass ranks of permanently enraged or terminally argumentative who are prevalent on Twitter and Yellows Forum.
The intention is not to replace Twitter or Yellows Forum as your go-to place for OUFC chat, but instead to be a place where you can air your thoughts in long-form without fear of being criticised or ridiculed.
We're not here because we all agree on everything, and we can certainly disagree and debate, but we can do it in a grown-up, informed and civilised way. We have rules to try and maintain this.

How does it work?
Basically you can tag your posts with one of the (currently) three category tags (On the pitch, Off the pitch, and Everything Else). For a short while, we'll maintain a fourth category tag of About the Forum where you can make suggestions and read about how we're doing things while we get everything up and running.

We currently only have four categories of content rather than the 20 or 30 boards that YellowsForum operates. We might need to split ours up a bit in due course if this place takes off and navigation becomes difficult.
In the meantime, if anything looks crap or doesn't work or you find it irritating, drop a suggestion in About the forum and we'll mull it over. Note that this is built using free forum software, so what it can do (or rather, what I know how to do) is relatively limited.
