Who do we think is the biggest flight risk before the weekend then? Presumably Tyler and Cam? Anyone else?

I think it was @Gingermoods's brother who said there's a risk we'll miss Cam than anybody is realising or ready to accept. I think he might be right. AKA the John Lundstram effect.

JonnyBiscuits I'm guessing we will see at least one integral player leave. Cam is on a massive wage so it could be that the owners need to claw back some of the summer outlay. I saw Lewis Bate wasn't even on Leeds's bench at the weekend and that he is not in their plans. He would be a more than adequate replacement/addition imho.

Terrific news. Interesting how opaque the club is with contract lengths these days. My memory might be wrong here, but I think it started with Manning's contract, and everything since has just used the very vague "long term deal" phrase.

"Northern Ireland defenders Craig Cathcart and Ciaron Brown have been ruled out of Sunday's Euro 2024 qualifier against Kazakhstan in Astana.

"Both centre-backs suffered injuries during the 4-2 defeat to Slovenia which all but ended lingering NI hopes of qualifying for next year's finals.

"Brown was forced off injured in the first half after injuring his ankle and his replacement, Cathcart, went off 15 minutes from time in the second period with a groin complaint."

Love that Greg Leigh has won League 1 player of the month, even though his own fans gave the POM award to Marcus McGuane. Very pleased for him though and it certainly isn't undeserved, he's been a revelation so far.

Ciaron Brown’s contract feels like good news. I’ve no doubt LM is only extending terms for those he sees as Championship standard. Jeez, feeling this positive is just weird.

Rumour has it that we are signing Alex Gorrin on a short-term deal until January.

EDIT: Now confirmed and it sounds like he could be straight into the squad for tomorrow.

Delighted he's back. I'm a really big fan - I appreciate it's probably a 'needs must' situation for us more than anything else given the injuries and illnesses, but I reckon he can justify his inclusion. Hope he does enough to warrant sticking around until the end of the season or get a gig elsewhere in January.

Experienced left back Joe Bennett signs a short term deal which runs to the end of January. Some extra cover for that position whilst Leigh is out injured.

Solid L1 defender sounds okay to me - basically what we need as cover until Greg is back.
