So, by the looks of things (dunno if this was covered in the press or anything) but in August the club submitted an additional document, which at a quick glance appears to be the report on traffic modelling stuff, which they’d been waiting for the county council to provide the data for. This is the club’s report.
As a result of us submitting additional information that is a ‘material consideration’, all the statutory consultees have been asked to consider the new evidence and resubmit their responses. So there are loads and loads of public bodies etc. like Natural England, the Environment Agency etc. have all had new documents uploaded - hence the recent flurry I guess. I can’t see anything to suggest that anybody has changed their minds, but I’ve only looked at a couple of them.
Ian Middleton has, obviously, submitted an amended response (as is his right as an affected local councillor) - you can read his reply here. I can’t be arsed to read it properly, but it’s noteworthy that (given the lack of objections from the likes of Natural England) that he’s suddenly not worried about the voles and badgers and what have you and is suddenly very interested in the traffic.
Dunno if this is new or not, but the Oxford Airport Aviation Service has also responded saying that the club will need to provide further information about lighting and solar panels might affect overhead aircraft coming in to land at Yarnton and also details about cranes they’ll be using for construction, so they can provide a more informed response.
