It needs to be someone in a similar mould to Manning so Buckingham and Barry-Murphy make the most sense after coming through the City Football Group school of coaching.
The other one that caught my eye was Lee Bell at Crewe. Doing a good job on a shoestring budget and playing some decent football.
If this was a few weeks ago, Mike Williamson would have been my number one choice so shame that’s gone (unless we try and take him off MK which would be quite funny).
