Well, it wouldn’t be normal without another Ticketshafter fuck up. We were meant to be able to buy 6 tickets per fan number, but it wouldn’t let me buy more than six total even when some were assigned to others in my network. FFS

The website said:

A maximum of six tickets can be purchased per fan number for any supporter with a Yellows Account registered on or before Wednesday 8th May.

I took that to mean that I should be able to buy a ticket for myself as a ST holder plus five ‘guest’ tickets. I was buying for myself, two other ST holders and four guests - seven total. It wouldn’t let me do that as it said I’d exceeded my allocation, but I could buy six. The whole point of the network thing is so that you can buy tickets for yourself and your family/friends together, but this has fucked that right up!

It wasn’t a big deal for me because my mates who I failed to get tickets for literally only ever show up for Wembley matches so they can fuck off and get their own tickets sorted, but still a bit frustrating.

Turns out my issues were entirely user error (or rather, lack of clarity on what to do re: attribution of tickets to network contacts).

Four things.

Sam Long’s goal line clearance being the best save a non-goalkeeper has ever made.
Greg Leigh putting off Ephron Mason-Clark at the far post in the final second of the match being one of the most heroic interventions in footballing history but it was just a minor side note having come off the back of Long’s goal line header and Cumming’s superman save.
The noise, oh god the unbelievable noise from the 1,300.

Bspittles I imagine most season ticket holders got their tickets sorted in the first day, so I doubt we’ll sell a huge amount more before they go on general sale on Monday. I reckon you’ll be ok.
