I think the home and away shirts are a steady 6/10. I think we've done a long period of retro callbacks, and now we should be focusing on some innovation in shirt design and looking to the future. I'm still disappointed we didn't see a Headington Shark inspired keeper shirt...
Also, the BG is not ideal. Yes it's just a sponsor but it makes such a difference to the look and feel of a shirt! It's overly dominating, and means nothing to anyone (probably even to the 8 people in Southeast Asia who may see it, who may go on to purchase some glazing). Most people will probably assume it's British Gas having a lazy rebrand.... Sounds cynical, but it represents a flex from the owners, where there are probably better commercial opportunities and partnerships there for the club to explore. That said, it's no Beanie Babies or an evil betting enterprise!
