I assumed that too, JB. They don't even operate in the UK as far as I know and apart from Oxford supporters, no one would have a clue who they are. Put BG in to Google and you can't find them.

It's not clear what the actual link is between BG and the current owners, although the family are also owners of Singha beer who have also been sponsors. So, on the face of it, it doesn't seem to be the same as the Man City situation where there is a clear connection between sponsors and owners. I agree that it is strange that a company with no apparent UK operations should want to invest so prominently in a 3rd tier English team though.

Replica kits aside, hard to imagine there is a team with worse 'leisurewear' than our club shop has to offer. The new t-shirts look like they were designed on a Commodore 64. By a toddler.

daleoufc89 I like it, it feels like we've only recently revisited this one, but it is one of my favourite kits, so I don't mind too much. Not keen on the big red patch on the back though, probably good if you are getting a name and a number, but not everyone will want to do that.

If anyone is still on Facebook it's worth reading the comments about the away kit on the club's page. They are FUMING about the colour and seemingly none of them have noticed that we have had red kits many times since the 60s.

Been to the kit launch party. Only stayed for one drink, but it was quite good fun. I know it's just a marketing thing, and it was a relatively small number but it was quite a good bit of #fanengagement.

Got completely suckered into buying the kit like an unbelievably impressionable chump.

Saw Tim Williams, Stevie K and PRB. Also spoke to Ferguson who was pleasant and open. Interestingly said that basically 18 months ago they concluded that KR wasn't the man to take the club forward, which mildly enraged @Gingermoods (not to his face obvs).

Couldn't get rid of the bugger in the end though...

JonnyBiscuits Ferguson was liking tweets about KR being the man to get us out of this league only a few months ago. Still something about him that I'm not sure about.

Pleased to hear it was a success. Presumably timed for families/school hols?
Made me think again about a meet-up which was originally discussed on Twitter. Maybe now a Beauchamp Lodge meet-up?
