JonnyBiscuits I see Bonner’s been axed from Cambridge. Is KR still living in MK? He’ll be up the Abbey for an interview quicker than a whippet with a bum full of dynamite.
brinyhoof JonnyBiscuits it would have been literally been the best thing to have happened in the history of humanity.
TrevorAylottsHeadband Not League One, but could be next year… I’m absolutely loving the complete hash that Rooney is making of the Birmingham job. I’m seriously starting to wonder if he’s a closet Villa fan.
JonnyBiscuits While I’ve got no particular beef with Wazza, I’m happy for this ludicrous American notion of needing a superstar big name to backfire massively.
TrevorAylottsHeadband brinyhoof No great surprise. We know that he’s a slow starter, but when you’ve gone 12 without a win it’s very hard for any owner not to do something. Realistically, that’s probably the end of his managerial career now.
JonnyBiscuits Dunno about that, but I suspect he might need to consider dropping down a division. He’s still only really had success as a manager at League 2. Perhaps that’s “his level” if such a thing exists.
TrevorAylottsHeadband JonnyBiscuits He did take Lincoln to the League One play-off final… And, yes, there could be something in that. Maybe he works best as the big fish in a small pond.
Rachhfost Decent set of results for us last night. Of course it means nothing until we string a set of results together ourselves. What a strange and poor quality league it is this year.
Bspittles Rachhfost I’m not sure if that’s a sign of poor quality or high quality. Lower placed teams being able to beat higher placed teams could mean the entire league is strong, rather than just a few clubs.
