I’m just thinking that it might just be down to the logistical challenge of putting your hands on a couple of thousand yellow t-shirts, wbucket hats and hoodies with overnight delivery at a reasonable price when your supplier already has 10,000 black, blue and white t-shirts fresh from a Chinese sweatshop. If we weren’t playing Bolton, I doubt anyone would have noticed.
Anyway, I suppose it bides the time until there’s some screw up issuing the tickets and everyone can get outraged by something else.
