Bspittles Agree with this. I’d be fairly confident that he won’t leave this close season, but once next summer rolls around…
That said, the first half of the season may show that it’s too big a step up for him and/or our new recruits are a better option. He was on a sizeable contract already (c.£12k/wk) and would have got a promotion increase so, in that situation, I doubt the club will be offering megabucks for him to stay.
