The general suggestion seems to be that the PL teams make a final call on who they want in their squads once they’re back from their pre-season tours. And then they release a whole bunch of players in a loan/sale bunfight.
Pumpey’s fans seem to be pinning all their hopes on them landing half a squad via that method.
